The mission of our Center is twofold:

• To provide global and national leadership in research, education and technology transfer related to computing in civil engineering.
• To encourage the best possible use of computing in civil engineering in research, education, and practice.

Although the mission is ambitious, the research and professional credibility of our members and their commitment to international cooperation ensures success. We believe that such challenges have to be met to advance the civil engineering profession and to benefit ASCE members as well as local economies in participating countries.
