Leonardo Rischmoller
Leonardo obtained his Civil Engineer Degree at Ricardo Palma University in Lima, Perú and then his PhD and MSc degrees at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. As engineer and researcher he worked for Bechtel where he developed technology, methods and procedures by which to conduct 4D planning; he pioneered the first 4D application on a live project that rendered significant and demonstrable savings in man-hours and materials, giving solid credence to his assertion that 4D technology is viable and cost-effective. Prior to this, he worked on several small to medium-sized construction projects as construction engineer. Currently he is the Director of the School of Construction at Universidad de Talca, Chile; Construction Management consultant and also works as part-time professor and researcher at the Construction and Engineering Management program at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile web link to department: http://ing.utalca.cl/carreras/ email: lrischmoller@utalca.cl
